On March 3rd, 2023 Detroit, Michigan had a hard, wet snow storm that blanketed the city. But with temperatures in the low 20ās, it was still time for the āFall Back In Loveā tour.
Despite the cold and snowy weather in Detroit, it was a full house inside Little Caesars Arena. Detroit showed up, and showed out! Jacquees opened the show, which thrilled the crowd when he walked to the back at center stage, and sat on the floor to sing his hit song, āTripā. The crowd went wild as he definitely got the show started on the right foot. Song after song, and move after move Jacquees kept going hard.
Next up was August Alsina who we havenāt really heard from since his last album, āThe Product: State Of Emergencyā, which was released in 2020. But that didnāt stop his fans from going crazy wanting to see him. They knew his songs word-for-word and showed him much love. August sang songs like, āMyselfā, āWouldnāt Leaveā and āNo Loveāā¦just to name a few.
Mario opened his set with his song, āMarsā from his album ā(Closer to Mars).ā, which came out in 2020. Loud screams came from the crowd when he sang songs like, āCrowns And Diamondsā and āCrying Out For Meā. It was āoverā when Mario took his shirt off, jumped on top of the speaker and danced. The ladies went crazy!
Monica, who we havenāt heard from since her last cd āAsk Whyā, graced the stage. Singing her hit songs, āAngel Of Mineā, āDonāt Take It Personalā, āBefore You Walk Out Of My Lifeā and her latest single, āFriendsā, it was like she just performed here yesterday. The crowd sang along with her, and even when she cut the music, the crowd was still singing.
The lights go down, the band starts to play, and the emcee says loudly, āMake some noise for Trey Songzā! As Trey walks out, the ladies start making their way towards the front in the stage, screaming and yelling, āI love you, Treyā!!! And with that, Trey Songz came out blazināā¦opening with āNa Naā. But by that time, he had already had them in the palm of his hands. Next song āBottoms Upā had the crowd dancing in the aisles all through Little Caesars Arena. They especially went crazy when he performed his monster hit song, āSay Ahā. Of course, they knew all the words and sang along with him. Slowing things down a bit, he went into āSlow Motionā. Trey Songz put on an amazing show, which probably made people forget about the weather outside.
