Nessa Barrett’s “Young Forever” Tour rolled into Chicago on March 13th at Chicago’s legendary Aragon Ballroom. Going her on this tour was young up and coming star Isabel LaRosa.

Isabel LaRosa hails from Annapolis, Maryland and was signed by RCA Records in 2021. Her biggest hit “I’m Yours” came in 2022 that helped sky rocket her fame when it went viral on TikTok. Isabel performs with her brother Thomas LaRosa who plays guitar and also helps her write and produce her music.

Janesa Jaida “Nessa” Barrett is from Galloway Township, New Jersey and is fresh off her first album release “Forever Young” which released in February 2022. Like Isabel, Nessa Barrett was found through TikTok which led to a record deal with Warner Records.

Isabel started the night off with her song “Haunted” which dives into the feeling of losing someone you used to be close with. One of my favorite songs she performed was a cover a Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl.” She then ended her set with her famous “I’m Yours.” “I’m Yours” is a soft, slow, moody beat that puts you in a trance with her soft elegant voice. Isabel say’s the song I”m Yours “is inspired by the feeling of liking someone and being unsure if they feel the same way, but still slowly letting go of your inhibitions.”

Nessa Barrett Started her night off with her song “Madhouse” which is dark, moody pop beat that addresses mental health which was a constant theme through the night with her set. She made it clear that she wanted everyone to know that they weren’t alone and it’s something that everyone goes through. Nessa also sneaked peaked a new song called “American Jesus” which it seems fans already seemed to know as they sang with her. She ended her night with “Bang Bang!” that left the crowd restless with it’s fast passed, upbeat melody.
