Brigitte Eve, an avid singer, dancer and electric guitar player from Barrie, Ontario Canada. Her most passionate about music and love to pick up her guitar to learn new riffs every day. From a very young age she was influenced by rock music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and also love the new rock of today.

Born and raised in Barrie Ontario, Canada, Brigitte began her love for performing arts and music at the age of 4. Her French Canadian roots gives her a creative edge in her work.

Her loving energy, caring nature and unique style makes her who she is meant to be — a natural born rock star!

“My parents Chantal and Dan, are my biggest supporters and have always encouraged me to follow my dreams. So…”dream big” they said. I am presently in high school and do many after-school activities that help me work towards my dreams. My ambition is to be my very best and share my love of the arts with the world.”

Brigitte naturally fell into her love for music, singing, dance and acting. With hard work and dedication her authenticity, determination and suporters have given her confidence and has created new opportunities.She has proven her dynamic abilities which continue to amplify whatever she sets her mind too. You are from Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

What is your upbringing? Pretty chill. I live in small city I guess you would call it. I live in a decent house, not far from my school. My parents both work and I have great life.

How did you discover music?

My parents love music always music on in the house. My mom loves bands and live music so been to a couple concerts.

How did you end up joining the nominated GirlPowR?

I auditioned twice. It was a great experience made new friends.

Toronto Santa Clause Parade 2019 featured artist on a stage where the Santa clause parade ended.

Kidapoolza Family day 2020 in kitchener performed with girlpowr was the last time I was in stage for live performance with my guitar. You can see that clip on Instagram.

Now embarking on my solo career always open to finding a Drummer and Base player to create my own rock band ages 13-18.

How did you start to write music?

Currently just writing ideas for songs in my journal. I come up with a few ways to arrange chords on my guitar make some cool melodies.

How did you get your first guitar, and do you still have it?

I was 10 years old I got it exactly on my 10th birthday June 29th. It’s a small acoustic Yamaha and yes, I still have it.

Tell me about your first television performance?

First Television performance when a was Tiny a age 8 and you spot me?

Describe your music. Singer Songwriter with a Rock Edge

Have soul in your song, able to tell a story and connect with the audience that was music is about no matter what Genre. Rock is just so FUN.

You begin your love of music at the age of 4. Do you remember your first live performance?

When I was 11 at Harmonix Christmas performance. Grade 7, I was part of school Rock band that was fun. Performing in from of your peers is the most stress. Performing for strangers is much easier you don’t feel like your being judged.

Do you belong to any to songwriters’ organizations like the International singer-songwriter association, SESAC, BMI or ASCAP?

How do you stay healthy while performing?

Dancing, I am a competitive dance and dance 6-8 hours a week. I walk, Bike, Skate Board, Swim, I am very active.

Digital vs. vinyl?

Love the sound of Vinyl today everything is digit. The difference the vinyl sounds more authentic, really feels in the moment.

How was it to perform at Kidapalooza with GirlPower-R on Family Day Weekend?

Amazing for many little fans. Loved every minute of it and miss being on Stage.

What have you been doing with your self-quarantine?

Learning new songs, teaching myself piano and practice my lines for my next Musical theatre play in June.

What is the name of the pilot your shot last year.

Rescuing cats this was done with Girlpowr no idea of results.

Have you discovered or rediscovered any new hobbies?

Painting and Drawing, now warmer weather trying to learn to skateboard and Archery.

What about Holographic concerts in our living room?

Would this be with a green screen. Sounds fun I truly miss performing live with audience I feed off that energy.

What is your happy place?

The cottage where I can swim, 4wheel, just relax and enjoy nature. Shoot my bow and target practice.

In your Instagram feed. You said “Music touches us emotionally, Where words alone can’t” by Johnny Depp. Have you ever seen him with Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry)

Unfortunately, no, they did play at Casino Rama were many other great performers have been you must be 19 year of age to attend.

I do feel luck and very thankful living in my sweet home in Barrie Ontario Canada my mom and dad who support my dream, amazing support from and entire team staring with from my acting coach Mrs. Katherine, dance teachers at ultimate Steps Dance studio, my guitar instructor Chris who say totally keep Rocking on, and my acting coach Alinka Infinity Performing Arts.
