Bottom Lounge

Chicago, IL

Rebecca Black’s “Let Her Burn” Tour made its way to Chicago’s Bottom Lounge venue located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. To start off the night, Mazie took the stage. Mazie hails from Baltimore Maryland and was discovered through her viral TikTok videos. Her most prominent song “Dumb Dumb” garnered attention worldwide and was even featured in the Netflix original “Do Revenge.” After warming up the crowd, Rebecca Black took the stage to a sold out Bottom Lounge venue. Being escorted out to the stage with were cloaked backup dancers, the crowd erupted. She stared the night off with “Crumbs” and continued on to play hits such as “Destroy Me,” “Girlfriend,” and even the hit that started it all “Friday.” I always love seeing artists put their spins on other artists songs and it was no different with her cover of Vanessa Carlton’s “Thousand Miles.”

It’s amazing to see the turnaround she’s made in her career to ditch the “young youtube star” look and watch her evolve into the strong, powerful, elegant voice she’s become. Her performance from end to end was incredible with the choreography, on stage props and costumes that included a blinged out chainsaw mic holder and perfectly colored, well lit stage. She definitely gave her fans their moneys worth.

Be sure to check out one of her remaining tour dates here!
