Nothing More brought a big show to Edmonton, Alberta on April 22nd, as part of their Spirits Tour 2023. The hard rock band from San Antonio, Texas, delivered an incredible performance that left the audience breathless. They were supported by two opening bands, Thousand Below and Crown the Empire, who warmed up the crowd with their own energetic sets.

Thousand Below is a post-hardcore band from California that blends strong vocals and heavy riffs. They played a high-performance set which also included songs “Sabotage” and “Gone To Me” from their soon-to-be-released album “Hell Finds You Everywhere”.

The second opening band, Crown the Empire, is a metalcore band from Dallas, Texas, that mixes electronic elements and theatrical concepts. The band also had a great stage presence and charisma, especially vocalist Andy Leo, who got the crowd hyped up for the main event.

Nothing More walked on stage shortly after the tune of “Mr. Sandman” played, creating a contrast between the sweet melody and their explosive sound. Jonny Hawkins, the lead singer, had so much energy that he was constantly moving around, jumping on platforms, banging on drums, and interacting with the audience. He also walked on stage for the show in true rock and roll style; barefoot, shirtless, and painted in black and red. The rest of the band matched the same energy, making excellent music and a riveting performance for everyone in the crowd.

Overall, it was an amazing show that left the crowd breathless and wanting more. It was a memorable show that impressed us with the band’s energy and musical skill. Nothing More is a band that is passionate about their music and leaves it all on stage, when they have Nothing More to give.
