Ann Wilson and Trippsitter played at the Carson Center in Paducah KY  Saturday Sept.2

Known as one of the greatest female voices in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, Ann Wilson from the legendary Rock group HEART electrified the Paducah audience with a set list comprised of her recent solo album Fierce bliss, as well as many HEART songs. which included -“Even It Up’ (which was the opening song).  An amazing version of “Love Alive” from the 1977 release Little Queen.  Magic Man and of course Barracuda to name a few of the smash hits.

Ann and Tripsitter who is comprised of guitarists Ryan Wariner, bassist Tony Lucido, Paul Moak on guitar and keyboards, and drummer Sean Lane were Truly impressive along With Ann joining at times playing the flute as they performed rare cover songs like;  John Lennon’s “Isolation”, The WHO’s “Love Reign O’er Me” David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” and Two Led Zeppelin songs, including “The Immigrant Song” as well as a Absolutely Beautiful version of “Going to California”,  (Mandolin and all).

It was absolutely Magnificent.   Songs with the vocal ranges that only Ann Wilson can sing “Live” and do it without flaw. Her voice was wondrous!

Her and the Boys played also played a number of songs from the new record called “Another Door” which is scheduled to be released in Late Sept of this year.

A song that really stuck out for me was “Rain of Hell”. It was hard and heavy and it really rocked.. The audience gave it a great response as well. I cant wait to year the rest of the songs. She definitely has not lost her magic to say the least.

With all the legendary groups from the 70s and 80s that are currently on tour.  Ann Wilson and Tripsitter should definitely be on the list as a must see for this fall.

Ann Wilson and Trippsitter played their 2nd to last show before the show takes a couple weeks off and starts up again on September 24th in Dallas Texas before wrapping it up in Pittsburg on October 21.

Hopefully more dates will be added after the new album comes out.
