Memphis based artist Glorilla makes her solo debut on her first headlining tour in Chicago. The original venue she was supposed be in sold out tickets fast, so she had to upgrade to a bigger venue. The turnout was more than anticipated and the show was worth it. Everywhere you looked at, it wasn’t any open space inside the standing only room venue. The opening artists were from Chicago and Glorilla keeps an eye on talent and the fans knew who the opening artists knew their songs. Most of the songs she performed were off her new album called “Anyways Life’s Great”. Her energy throughout the set was very even and she even mentioned that Chicago is one of her favorite cities. The lighting was great throughout the event and even the smoke was a nice feature. She had the crowd in the palm of her hand the whole set and the energy was unmatched. She even decided to crowd surf which is something she does at the end of her tour in each city. Her presence was commanding, and the crowd felt that. Her hit song FNF which hit the billboard top 100 chart.
The crowd enjoyed her whole set, and it was one of those events that you should’ve been there. Make sure you check out other dates while her tour goes through April. Shes one of the next female rap artists to have a great due her authentic personality and her interaction with the crowd.
