Denzel Curry takes over the Riviera Theatre

Florida Hip Hop artist Denzel Currey graced the stage of our Riviera Theatre in Uptown Chicago on Friday, September 23rd. With support from the bays AG Club, Redveil, and PLAYTHATBOIZAY the energy of the Chicago crowd fueled a memorable performance by all of them. From the supporting acts to the headliner, the crowd and artists didn’t disappoint. From security having to wave people away from the front stage due to overcrowding, mosh pits taking over the majority of the audience, and fans being brought on stage to crowd surf, many of these concertgoers won’t be forgetting this show. The dedicated fan base that showed up brought with them memorabilia of the artists come up that also made the night’s event unforgettable for the artists. Every musician on the roster had fans at the show and with the mixture of artists curated for this tour it only makes sense. These artists do well to complement each other’s sounds and those who didn’t know who they were left with new music to put in their rotation.
PLAYTHATBOIZAY brought an energy that infected the crowd as the opener, Redveil left with the crowd chanting his name, AG Club went from stage to balcony, to the center of the mosh pit to get close to their fans, and Denzel delivered on the songs people love to hear mixed with works from his new album “Melt My Eyez See Your Future”. Even the artist’s DJ’s fueled the fire of excitement in the audience along with the acoustics in the legendary Riviera Theatre. If any of these artists end up in a city near you, it is something not to miss out on.
