Review by Jake Warkel

Legendary Depeche Mode are an English electronic band formed in Basildon, Essex in 1980. The group consists of founders Dave Gahan (lead vocals, co-songwriting), Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, chief songwriting), and Andy Fletcher (keyboards).

with energy of a teenager dancing around back and forth like a front man showman does. Dave dressed for success and a man that can still sing and belt out songs with ease. The fans mostly women screaming and yelling for Dave every chance they had, while dancing their asses off enjoying every moment of the concert. Guitarist Martin Gore stood to his right while keyboardist Andrew Fletcher was to the left of him on a riser. They still create great music, you can feel the passion and they make sure you hear them.

Depeche Mode played all their favorites like “Enjoy the Silence,” “Strangelove,” “Policy of Truth,” “Never Let Me Down Again,” “Everything Counts” and “World in My Eyes.” Depeche Mode knows what their fans want a few new songs with a face full of classics that made this band the biggest band in the 80’s. The fans hear in Chicago

were definitely happy right out of the gate and throughout the night from beginning to end.

Overall the multi-layered vocal harmonies, switching leads, soothing sounds, and a great live performance still makes Depeche Mode a band all these years a band to be wrecking with. Must see weather you are a fan or not, go see them if you have a chance.
