The Alchemy Tour consisted of: NGHTMRE, SLANDER, Seven Lions, Glitch Mob, and Huxley Anne. The tour stopped at The Aragon Ballroom on September 14, 2019, and was….BY FAR….the most intense audio experience I have ever encountered.
Seven Lions (a/k/a Jeff Montalvo, DJ Sven (Psytrance alias) is a legendary DJ / remixer from Santa Barbara, California.
In addition to creating electronic beats, Seven Lions is also a beat master of actual drumming.
The Glitch Mob is edIT (Edward Ma), Boreta (Justin Boreta) and Ooah (Josh Mayer)…..all of whom are from the Los Angeles, California area. They have most definitely “dialed” themselves into creating one of the largest drum ‘n bass audiences worldwide.
The SOLD OUT venue packed in 5,000 sweaty souls. All sweaty souls, including my own, were truly vibrating.
Nghtmre, (a/k/a Tyler Marenyi) is a self-described DJ who features ‘beats and bad dreams,’ and hails from Los Angeles, California.
SLANDER is Derek Andersen and Scott Land. They both hail from Los Angeles, California and are known to have created subgenre, “heaven trap”.
Huxley Anne is relatively new to the scene but is already taking prisoners and not bothering with names of her masses due to her unique style and energy. She is originally from a tiny town in Utah but has been living in Los Angeles, California since 2014.
