Has Taylor changed over the years

Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH, USA, July 8, 2018

One of the biggest musician performers hit Columbus Ohio over the weekend. Taylor Swift was in town to take over the town with her Reputation Stadium Tour. The tour began on May 8, 2018 in Glendale and is set to conclude on November 21, 2018 in Tokyo, comprising of 53 concerts. The supporting acts for the tour are Charli XCX and Camila Cabello.

The Taylor Swift (TS) show at Ohio Stadium was one of the biggest production it has ever put on, at Ohi Stadium. Her production team included 52 semi-trucks of staging and equipment, plus 30 trucks to transport the necessary steel for the show. Four cranes were being used to construct the towers and staging. According to Columbus Arena Sports and Entertainment (CASE), Saturday’s concert was a bigger production than the Rolling Stones 2015 concert at Ohio Stadium and the Cirque Du Soleil Michael Jackson event that took place at the Schottenstein Center.

The funny thing is Taylor was not always into the big show. She started out simplify as a country songwriter who wrote songs about life and her boyfriends.

I saw her on tour on February 15, 2007 on tour with Ronnie Milsap and George Strait at the Sears Center, Hoffman Estates, IL.  She was the first one to open the show. Her setlist was the following:
Our Song
Teardrops on My Guitar
Should’ve Said No
Tim McGraw
Picture to Burn

This was the start of her growth. I did not see her until the following year. She toured with Rascal Flatts and she opened up for them at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater. The tour came to Tinley Park on September 9, 2008. Her set list was the following:

In the 2010s she started to become a bigger star. Her writing style changed and a lot of her fans were disappointed on what they heard. It was not the same Taylor. She went totally pop 40, with her hit Shake it Up. A lot of people were saying that she was not country anymore. And they were not going to listen to her anymore. Her fan base grown larger and larger. She gained a new fan base of 12-20 year old fans and most of her original fan base forgive her.

And with this new growth in her fan base, she started to developed new styles of music. And she was out of the box, never to return to it again. At this time she became a performer.  Not just a singer. With her taken pages from Madonna and Britney Spears playbook, she has developed into a true performer
