There are different programs which play music on NPR.

Alt.Latino. …
From the Top. …
Jazz Night In America. …
Mountain Stage. …
Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz.

The night I went they have 5 singers performing. They were Sean Rowe, Amber Rubarth, Jill Barber, Gretchen Peters, and Livingston Taylor.

Sean Rowe- He is an acclaimed acoustic rocker Sean Rowe. While a teen in New York, Rowe discovered the aged and toned soul of Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, as well as the well-produced spectacles of Marvin Gaye, The Beach Boys, and Elvis Presley. Amber Rubarth-She came to the mountain stage as a new artist. And after 5 years she has returned. She also returns as a movie star with her playing the lead role of Joni in the feature film American Folk, which was released in the U.S. through Good Deed Entertainment on January 26, 2018.

Jill Barber – She is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Originally associated with the folk-pop genre, she has performed vocal jazz on her more recent albums. But she has moved over to an adult pop tone.

Gretchen Peters- She is a living legend,  a real true jewel of an American singer and songwriter. She was born in New York and raised in Boulder, Colorado but moved to Nashville in the late 1980s. She found work as a songwriter, composing hits for Martina McBride, Etta James, Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless, George Strait, Anne Murray, Shania Twain, Neil Diamond and co-writing songs with Bryan Adams.

Livingston Taylor- He is an American singer-songwriter and folk musician. He is also the brother of singer-songwriter James Taylor, singer-songwriter Kate Taylor, musician Alex Taylor, and innkeeper and singer Hugh Taylor.
