Last night at Four Winds Casino’s Silver Creek Event Center, Lita Ford proved that rock ‘n’ roll is forever. The former Runaway and solo metal queen delivered a set that was equal parts nostalgia and raw energy.
From the opening riffs of “Gotta Let Go” to the crowd-pleasing “Kiss Me Deadly,” Ford’s performance was tight, loud, and refreshingly unpretentious. She pushed through many of her hits including, “Relentless,” “Larger Than Life”, “Hungry,” “Can’t Catch Me,” “Cherry Bomb,” and Elton John’s “The Bitch is Back.”
The real surprise came when Dee Snider stormed the stage for the encore. Together, they tore through Twisted Sister anthems like “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock,” with Snider’s signature snarl and Ford’s blazing guitar solos igniting the crowd. Their duet on “Close My Eyes Forever” was a standout, blending Snider’s grit with Ford’s melodic edge. They wrapped up the night with a raucous cover of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” leaving the audience to an incredible night of pure rock energy.
In an era of overproduced pop, this concert was a welcome blast of authentic rock energy. No frills, no filler—just two legends reminding us why their music lives on!
