Jackson Browne brings in the Thunder at Ravinia

Ravinia Festival, the outdoor concert venue in Highland Park, IL welcomed singer, songwriter, and musician Jackson Browne. The Rock-n-Roll hall of famer took stage promptly at 7:30 pm with no opening act. He was surrounded by his top-notch band performing hit after hit.

Browne, who has sold over 18 million albums in the United States, had Ravinia in the palm of his hand as they enjoyed his solid performance. He opened with “Some Bridges” and performed over 25 songs during the night. Included on his set list were, “You Love the Thunder”, “Doctor My Eyes”, “These Days”, “Somebody’s Baby”, “Running on Empty” and “The Pretender”.

One thing is for sure, Browne was having a great time delivering his hits that have spanned some 40 years plus. The large Ravinia crowd enjoyed every single moment with him especially when he performed “Take It Easy”, one of the many mega-hits by The Eagles that Browne co-wrote
