How to not rock at 40 years old

By Dan Locke

The Incoherent is a film everyone who ever been in a band, should check out.  It is a film about a band in the 90s who were starting out and were getting people looking at them.  But, after one album they disappeared.  Now fast forward 25 plus years later, with many of them starting businesses, having families, and working in corporate America, they want to start making music again.  And they find out how hard it is to give it up for that great American dream.  “I Want to Be a Singer in A Rock and Roll Band”, “We’re an American Band”, “Radar Love”, Ramblin’ Man”, “Born to be Wild”’ and “Turn the Page”. How the music business has changed in the new age of the Internet.  And how important social media is for today bands.

You can almost also say The Incoherent is the story of old blues and jazz musicians trying to make it into today music world.  They think all you need is talent.  But the movie does show you both sides of the coin.  Talent and how to keep an audience.  And make your fan base grow.

The story and music are great.  It has a great message and the music is catchy and listenable.   You can catch the movie all streaming platforms including Amazon Prime.
