The Cat Burglar (1961)

Perfectly sleazy low rent B-Noir, The Cat Burglar is no great trail blazer but it’s fun and fast (65 minutes fast) and gets the job done. The plot may seem overly familiar (even if it wasn’t a blatant rip-off of Pickup on South Street) but it lays on the noir cliche’s so thick that it’s hard not to have a good time.

The Outside Man (1972)

Early 70′s crime drama with Roy Scheider as a mob hit man, Angie Dickinson as a mobster’s wife and Ann-Margret as a cocktail waitress at a strip club. That cast alone should be enough for you to see this little known film.

The House on Garibaldi Street (1979)

While I watched The House on Garibaldi Street, I couldn’t help but pick out the similarities and differences between this film and Steven Spielberg’s Munich. One noticable difference is that House is really boring.

Hornet’s Nest (1970)

Rock Hudson plays an American soldier sent in to blow up a Nazi dam. As his platoon parachutes in they are ambushed by the Nazis and gunned out of the sky. Rock Hudson is the only one to survive, of course, but is knocked unconscious. He is saved by some Italian kids and dragged to their cave hideout. After regaining consciousness, the kids promise to lead Hudson to the dam for a price. He must teach them how to fight.

Three Bad Sisters (1959)
